Exemption for women in Night Shift

In order to regulate working conditions, service conditions, registration, wages, working hours, leave, welfare provisions, and other labor-related obligations for shops, commercial establishments, restaurants, hotels, theaters, and other establishments in the State, the Goa government passed the "Goa Shops and Establishments (Regulation of Employment and Conditions of Service) Act, 2025." All businesses with 20 or more employees are subject to the law. All businesses with 20 or more employees are subject to the law. The Act supersedes the earlier shops-and-establishments act and is aimed to modernize and unify labour welfare and compliance across the state.
