Phase 1 polling day is 9 September 2026, a Wednesday, covering 5,550 wards across bodies like Ajmer, Nagaur, Tonk, Bhilwara, Jodhpur, Jaipur rural areas, Alwar, Sikar and many more districts
Phase 2 polling day is 11 September 2026, a Friday, covering 4,695 wards including Ajmer City, Kishangarh, Jaipur City, Kota City, Bikaner City, Udaipur City and others
On the applicable polling date, banks and offices covered under the NI Act will observe a holiday only in the constituencies going to vote that day, not across the whole state
Purpose is to make sure voters employed in banks and similar institutions get the day off to exercise their franchise
