The Govt. of Rajasthan released the Code on Wages (Rajasthan) Rules, 2026 through notification bearing no S.O.152 dated 13.01.2026. This rule operationalizes the Code on Wages 2019 in the State which shall ensure wage definitions, minimum wages fixation and wage payment partly uniform across country. Rules lay down proper systems for fixation and revision of minimum wages, disbursement of wages and their maintenance. They also reinforce digital compliance, inspection tools. Ultimately the Rules are supposed to enhance transparency of wages, timely payment and compliance for employers with some safety rights of the workers.
