Goa
All factories and commercial establishments with one or more employees are required to make half-yearly welfare contributions under the Goa Labour Welfare Fund Act, 1986 (Amended in 2024). Workers not in management, earning up to ₹1,600 a month, pay ₹60.00 and employers pay ₹180.00, for a total of ₹240.00 semi-annually per worker. These deductions are finalized on June 30 and December 31 . The final electronic returns and payments are due strictly by July 15 and January 15 respectively to avoid automated penalties .
