Applicability:It covers all Andaman & Nicobar Island scheduled jobs even it every employee, contract labourer and labourers. It relates to government buildings, local governments, mines, factories, and other scheduled industries. It does not include members of the armed forces

Penalty:Fine of Rs. 500/- or 6 months imprisonment or both
