The Government of Bihar’s Labor Resources Department has officially updated the statutory compensation structure across all listed scheduled employments through Memorandum No. 5/MW-40-16/2021. This regulatory mandate establishes updated daily and monthly salary benchmarks dynamically pegged to the Variable Dearness Allowance (VDA) adjustments. Structured to ensure full legal alignment across the state's commercial landscape, the official enforcement timeline dictates that the revised pay scales come into force with an absolute effective date of 01-04-2026. Under this newly implemented framework, the complete monthly wage distribution—inclusive of base rates and newly integrated VDA—is precisely mandated at ₹11,336 for Unskilled labor, ₹11,752 for Semi-Skilled workers, ₹14,326 for Skilled personnel, and ₹17,472 for Highly Skilled corporate or technical staff.
