Description:It is to guarantee that workers in scheduled jobs are paid a fair minimum wage, avoid exploitation, and maintain a minimal standard of living
Applicability:It covers all Nagaland scheduled jobs even it every employee, contract labourer and labourers. It relates to government buildings, local governments, mines, factories, and other scheduled industries. It does not include members of the armed forces
Over-Time Wages:Twice the minimum wages
Penalty & Compensation for paying less than Minimum Wages
Penalty:Fine of Rs. 500/- or 6 months imprisonment or both
